Burney Street Practice does not accept Repeat Prescription requests over the telephone unless the patient is housebound.
Requests should be made by any of the following methods:
- Via Vision Online www.patient-services.co.uk
- Via this website – complete the Repeat Prescription Request form
- Via the pharmacy if repeat prescription available
You will need to register for the online service at the practice. Photographic proof of identification including home address and a personal email address will be required. This will only be available at the moment for patients aged 16 years and over. If you would like to apply online, you can do so by completing the Register for Online Services form.
Prescriptions can be collected from reception or the pharmacy of your choice if you have selected electronic transfer 48 hours (2 days) after they have been requested.
In very rare cases, there may be times when your prescription will be delayed due to queries the doctor may have. There may also be times where the doctor will request an appointment with you to discuss your medication. In this case, a member of the reception team will call you to arrange this.
If you need a new medication, including any medication prescribed by a hospital doctor/consultant, please arrange to come in and discuss this with a doctor at the practice.
